Synopsis: Rocco sin da bambino ha dovuto conquistarsi il suo spazio vitale in una realtà di emarginazione e miseria. La strada che ha preso con i suoi amici fidati lo ha portato verso il lato buio della società, dove vige la legge spietata delle organizzazioni dedite al crimine, rendendolo un uomo rispettato e temuto. Ma Rocco è anche un uomo dotato di cuore e sensibilità che a volte mal si conciliano con il suo ruolo e che sono causa di contrasti con Don Cataldo, l’unica persona a cui deve veramente rendere conto.
A seguito delle ferite riportate in un conflitto a fuoco, mentre è in missione a Roma, è costretto ad una degenza in un ospedale, dove avviene l’incontro con la persona che potrebbe cambiare il corso della sua vita. Giulia, brillante e affascinante medico, ricambia le attenzioni di Rocco, che finiscono per sfociare in una relazione passionale che li coinvolge oltre misura.
La ragazza decide di seguirlo nella sua città, presentandosi a sua insaputa sotto casa. Rocco capisce che è ora di fare una scelta definitiva prendendo Giulia, che le darà un figlio, e manifestando la sua intenzione di lasciare la “famiglia”. Purtroppo la cosa non si rivelerà così facile, anzi scatenerà una serie di conseguenze, i cui eventi trasformeranno la sua esistenza.
Since childhood, Tano has had to gain his vital space in an environment characterized by poverty.The path taken by him and his loyal friends has led him towards the dark side of society, where the only rule to be followed is the one of merciless criminal organizations. Tano becomes a respected member of one of these organizations, but at the same time he is a man gifted with sensibility, which does not fit well with his job. This causes several disputes with the boss, Don Carmelo, the only person he needs to justify his actions to.
While in Rome on a mission, Tano receives a gun shot and is rushed to hospital. There he meets the person that could change the course of his life, Vittoria is a brilliant and fascinating doctor. Tano and Vittoria fall deeply in love.
The young woman decides to follow him to his hometown. Tano understands that it is time to make a vital decision and chooses to share with her the rest of his life. Vittoria becomes pregnant, and this makes Tano decide to leave the “family”. Unfortunately this is not as easy as he thought and his will to lead a normal life unleashes a series of consequences that will change his existence forever.
